Aparté is built on a simple principle: your conversations are yours alone. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Aparté does not collect, transmit, or store your conversations on any server. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter phoning home, and no account system. The only network request the app makes is the one-time download of the on-device model.
Your chat history and attachments are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. They are protected by your device's security model and, optionally, Face ID. Uninstalling the app removes this data from your device.
Aparté does not share your data with third parties because it never has access to your data in the first place. Inference runs entirely on your device's hardware.
